Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited’s Governance team within Macquarie Asset Management seeks a Governance Professional to strengthen governance support across the ANZ infrastructure portfolio, assist with integration initiatives, and deliver training and education to stakeholders.

You will engage with senior leaders, respond to regulatory requests, and may contribute legal support on non-core matters, bringing tertiary legal qualifications and proven governance experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience within Legal, Company Secretary, Board Secretariat, or Governance based roles.
• Deep experience within Asset Management or Financial Services sectors
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, across multiple teams within a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen governance support across ANZ infrastructure portfolio.
• Drive integration initiatives and deliver training and education.
• Improve communication between governance functions and portfolio companies.

Our Legal & Governance team is a trusted partner to our investment teams, and you will play a key role in strengthening governance support across our ANZ infrastructure portfolio whilst helping drive integration initiatives, deliver training and education, and improve communication channels to ensure a seamless connection between governance functions and portfolio companies.

In addition, you will provide support in responding to regulatory requests, investigations and governance-related matters, as required.

This is a broad and varied role and you may also have the opportunity to contribute legal support on non-core legal matters to the Macquarie Asset Management Legal team, subject to holding relevant legal qualifications.
