Job summary

Royal Sydney is seeking a friendly, proactive team member to deliver outstanding service to members by creating a welcoming golf and retail experience. Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager you will assist in the smooth running of the concourse and pro-shop areas, drive sales and maintain high standards of pro-shop and concourse presentation.

This part-time role offers 24–32 hours per week with availability for weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Retail experience (sports/golf a bonus).
• Strong knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Passion for delivering top-tier member service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Friendly, positive and energetic disposition with outstanding presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with purchasing, stock control, and POS operations.
• Maintain Pro-shop and storage areas tidy and organised.
• Enforce dress code, mobile phone policies, and guest sign-in.
• Process orders and invoices through the POS to member accounts.
• Assist with quarterly stocktakes.
• Stay up-to-date with events/fixtures.
• Assist with tee bookings and timesheet management.
• Handle daily operational tasks including cleaning and maintenance of bag and cart storage.
