Job summary

JS Careers Pty is seeking a Global Technology Auditor for a leading financial markets business in Sydney. You will plan and deliver global technology audits from scoping to final reporting, driving remediation follow-up and assurance across infrastructure, cloud, data, and security controls.

You will engage with senior stakeholders worldwide, shape audit strategy, leverage analytics, and apply frameworks such as COBIT and NIST to improve risk management.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in Technology/IT Audit or risk.
• Professional qualifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC.
• Broad technology expertise across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, resilience and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead global technology audit engagements, setting audit strategy and annual plan.

Global Technology Auditor - Financial Markets

JS Careers are seeking an exceptional technology audit professional for a leading financial markets business. The role will provide independent assuranceacross technology and risk management, with responsibility for planning and delivering global audits from initial scoping through to final reporting andremediation follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead global technology audit engagements, setting the audit strategy, annual plan, methodology and risk-based coverage across theorganisation’s technology environment.
Oversee end-to-end technology auditsacross infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, data, technology change, resilience, third-partytechnology and emerging technologies.

Provide independent assurance and challengeover technology governance, risk management frameworks, control environments and theeffectiveness of key technology controls.

Engage with senior stakeholders globally, including Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance and Business leadership, communicatingsignificant risks and audit findings clearly and commercially.

Drive innovation and continuous improvementacross Technology Audit, including the use of data analytics, automation and emergingtechnologies to enhance audit effectiveness.

Suitable candidates will possess:

5 - 8+ years’ experienceacross Technology Audit, IT Audit, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Information Security or a related discipline.

Relevant professional qualifications and frameworks, such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM or CRISC, with knowledge of standards including COBIT,NIST andISO 27001.

Broad technology expertiseacross areas such as infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, data, technology transformation, operationalresilience and emerging technology.

Strong audit and risk capability, with demonstrated experience developing and delivering risk-based technology audit programmes within complexor highly regulated environments.

Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives, challenge constructively and translate complextechnology issues into clear business and risk implications.
