Job summary

Easygo seeks a Privacy Manager to own and mature its privacy programme across global markets from our Melbourne office. You will report to the General Counsel and lead the development of policies, controls and training while balancing innovation with regulatory obligations.

In this senior role, you will bridge product, data and marketing teams with regulatory requirements, ensuring scalable, compliant systems. A legal or governance background and privacy certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maturing privacy frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into practical controls for product and engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for technical and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and mature Easygo's global privacy framework, including policies and a roadmap across brands and jurisdictions.
• Monitor and interpret developments in privacy regimes and translate into prioritized business requirements.
• Design and run privacy impact assessments and embed privacy by design into product lifecycles.
• Assess privacy risk of vendors, processors and partners; manage DPAs and cross-border transfer mechanisms.
• Provide timely, practical privacy advice to product, engineering, security, data and marketing teams; deliver privacy training.
• Report privacy risk, metrics and remediation progress to Legal leadership and support audits and regulatory inquiries.
