Job summary

Zenith Media Australia is seeking a commercially minded Media Operations & Governance Manager to oversee global budgets, governance, and reporting for Australia’s high-profile tourism accounts. The role sits at the intersection of media, finance and operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and actionable insights across markets.

You’ll work with senior leaders, finance teams and market leads to manage budgets, forecasting and cross-border processes, translating data into clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing governance frameworks, operational processes and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Experience within media finance, client accounting, marketing services or a related commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, revenue recognition, accounts receivable and working capital management.
• Experience managing multi-market budgets, client billing arrangements and cross-border financial processes.
• Working knowledge of digital media campaign delivery and performance reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance frameworks, operational processes and service delivery controls across multiple markets.
• Monitor compliance with operational standards, agreed processes and governance requirements.
• Manage global account budgets, forecasting and financial performance tracking.
• Deliver consolidated reporting, variance analysis and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end client billing, revenue recognition, accruals and unbilled revenue.
• Oversee accounts receivable, debtor management and working capital performance.
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support financial decision-making.
• Partner with account leadership and finance teams to support commercial management and contract administration.
• Assess the commercial and financial impact of client requests and scope changes.
