Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming in Sydney seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to advance manufacturing quality and innovation across global sites. You will lead improvements in line layouts, material flow, safety, and efficiency, while collaborating with design engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.

You will apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, build data-driven root-cause analyses, and support international sites including EUIC. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in designing and developing manufacturing and repair processes.
• Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts.
• Ability to develop data-driven root-cause analyses and solutions.
• Strong data analysis, communication, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel on business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on manufacturing benchmarks to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Develop and modify line layouts, material flow, waste reduction, and ergonomics.
• Analyse site-wide processes across warehouse, production and repair areas; coordinate with global sites.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to improve yield and capacity.
• Support international sites and the EUIC in Barcelona, including travel for process review.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and repair work instructions and routings.
• Contribute to build, development, and fabrication of production fixtures for assembly.
• Analyse data to identify trends in build quality and efficiency.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 8D).
• Assist in transitioning products from concept to mass manufacturing and ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate process technologies, equipment builds, and suppliers; select best mass production methods.
