Job summary

Pacific Trade Invest Australia in Sydney is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our close-knit team in a hybrid role (three days in the Sydney CBD office). You will engage in digital communications, content, events and campaigns to showcase Pacific businesses and promote trade and investment opportunities.

The role requires experience in marketing or a related field, strong writing, and proficiency with social media, Canva and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Experience or a relevant qualification in marketing, communications, content, digital media or a related field.
• Confidence using social media platforms, scheduling tools and Canva to create simple, polished and on-brand content.
• Strong writing skills with clear, professional content across emails, newsletters, website updates and other materials.

Responsibilities

• Draft and support written content, including media releases, reports, email newsletters and website updates.
• Update CRM and website, keeping content accurate, current and consistent.
• Support in the delivery of events (virtual and in-person), including communications and follow-up.
• Assist with analytics reporting across social media, media coverage, EDMs, website activity and other marketing and communications channels.
• Provide ad hoc marketing and communications support to the wider team, including in coordinating events.
