Job summary

Firmus Technologies seeks a Head of Electrical Engineering, AI Factory Development, to lead electrical engineering across all global AI Factory sites. You will define and adapt the reference design, oversee MV/LV distribution, UPS, and power systems, and drive commissioning readiness and handover to operations.

The role requires leading distributed engineering teams, governance of design and testing, and collaboration with cross-functional heads to ensure safe, reliable energisation of AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (power systems preferred).
• Extensive experience with multi-site data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, and high-availability power systems.
• Strong governance, commissioning readiness, and handover experience across build-to-run interfaces.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams across countries and engaging with utilities and vendors.
• Expertise in MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby and prime-power generation, and protection/coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering discipline across all Firmus AI Factory sites.
• Define interpretation of reference electrical design for local codes and site conditions.
• Procure, construct, and commission across sites; ensure energisation readiness.
• Maintain design governance, deviation management, and testing across projects.
• Collaborate with Mechanical & Thermal, Controls, and Physical Networking Heads and Operations.
