Job summary

Cognizant in Sydney seeks a Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of a digital transformation program in the Australian insurance sector.

You will lead global, cross-functional teams, govern delivery with robust metrics, and ensure alignment with client priorities while managing budget, schedule and risk. Experience in large-scale tech programs and hybrid delivery models is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT or business.
• 20+ years technology delivery; 10+ years leading large multi-team programs.
• Delivery certifications preferred (PMP/PRINCE2/SAFe/Scrum).

Responsibilities

• Own integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and release schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams; remove impediments and coach leaders.
• Governance through dashboards, KPIs, SLAs, RAID logs and executive reporting.
• Manage client relationships and translate priorities into executable plans.
• Control budgets, forecasts, staffing, vendor performance, and contractual commitments.
• Ensure architecture, security, regulatory, quality, and operational readiness.
