Job summary

Linde Material Handling Australia is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Huntingwood-based team. You will contribute to the global Cyber Defense Centre, lead incident response and vulnerability analysis, and drive security improvements across the KION Group.

Responsibilities include SIEM deployment and tuning, incident management, scripting in Java/Python, and automation via SOAR. A global, fast-paced environment requires cross-functional collaboration and flexibility for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related IT field, preferably cyber security.
• Advanced programming knowledge in Python and Java.
• Experience with SOAR products is preferred and SIEM is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the incident response analysis (CSIRT) and vulnerability analysis in a global environment.
• Deploy, configure, and leverage SIEM for security use cases.
• Manage cyber security incidents and conduct client triage/forensic analyses of cyber-attacks.
• Participate in the Cyber Security on-call schedule to ensure security worldwide for the KION Group.
• Program / script writing using Java, Python, etc.
• Use SOAR products for automation of security incidents with case/playbook development.
• Use Big Data Analysis & Machine Learning to develop group-specific use cases at current security level.
• Develop and integrate security detection methods for cloud environments like Azure, AWS, GCP to mitigate risks.
• Evaluate log correlations/aggregations and log analysis.
• Analyze and apply information security, risk management, and privacy practices.
• Liaise with internal departments on projects and tasks.
