Job summary

Custom Glass Co in Prestons, NSW, is seeking a skilled Glass Polisher/Processor to join our production team. You will set and operate the polishing machine, ensure high-quality finishes, and prep glass for waterjet or toughening. This full-time role requires accuracy, safety discipline, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a glass polisher and glass handling is required.
• Driver's license is desirable but not essential.
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in the building or construction industry is preferable but not essential.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate Polishing Machine.
• Inspect glass products for defects and ensure they meet high quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work environment.
• Provide general maintenance of the machine.
• Ensure all glass processed is ready for the next stage (waterjet or toughening).
• Assist with general cleaning and other machinery as needed.
• Collaborate closely with factory staff while maintaining the ability to work independently.
• Additional experience in Water jetting or CNC operating is highly desirable.
