Northern Star Resources currently has an exciting opportunity for a GIS Analyst to join our team at our Subiaco Corporate Office on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Environmental Manager – EMS and under the guidance of the principal GIS Developer you will maintain environmental spatial data and deliver GIS mapping products that support environmental approvals, compliance, mine closure planning, and operational decision-making across our operations. This role is ideal for an early-career GIS professional looking to grow your experience in the mining industry.

To thrive in this role, you will need.
Experience: Demonstrated 1-3 years of experience using GIS desktop platforms such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS, with strong spatial data management, cartography and Microsoft Office skills. Experience within mining, environmental, natural resources or consulting sectors, along with exposure to web/field GIS applications, spatial databases, environmental compliance processes, and GIS automation or scripting, will be highly regarded.
Qualifications : Hold a relevant Tertiary qualification in GIS, Geospatial Science, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
