GHD’s Summer Internship Program 2026/27 offers penultimate and pre-penultimate students the chance to explore engineering, science, project management or design within a global consulting environment on the Newcastle & Northern NSW locations.
During three months you’ll work with design teams, contribute to bids and tenders, gain real project exposure, and receive meaningful feedback to help prepare for graduate opportunities. Start dates in November; ending mid-February.

Start dates and opportunities
Our Summer interns generally commence in November and finish up mid-late February to coincide with our next Graduate intake. A number of our interns also continue working in the business on a casual basis after their formal internship period has wrapped up.
