Job summary

GHD is seeking a Graduate Spatial Analyst to join our Location Intelligence team in Australia. You’ll use GIS to analyse data, create visualisations and turn insights into practical advice as part of our 2027 Graduate Program, starting February 2027.

We welcome recent graduates or students due to graduate by end of 2026 in Spatial/Geospatial Science, GIS, Surveying, Earth Science or related fields. Good communication and a willingness to learn across projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated (or student expected to graduate by end of 2026) with a degree/major in Spatial/Geospatial Science, Surveying, GIS, Earth Science, Cartography, Geography or similar.
• Alternatively, studying towards a degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a passion for GIS.
• Interest in consulting and the engineering/environment sectors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Who could you be at GHD?

Our Location Intelligence team utilises Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and a range of spatial and non-spatial data to enable our clients to understand relationships between data, undertake analytics and visualisations, and transform data into actionable insights. This team of specialists are looking for Graduate Spatial Analysts to join them as part of our 2027 Graduate Program.

• has recently graduated (or is a current student expecting to graduate by the end of 2026) with a degree and/or major in areas such as Spatial/Geospatial Science, Surveying, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Earth Science, Cartography, Geography or similar. Alternatively, you could be studying towards a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with a passion for GIS.
