Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Ward 1B Geriatrics & Rehabilitation at Fairfield Hospital on a temporary full or part time basis. You will deliver patient-centred care, support recovery, and work within a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes for older adults.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA authority to practice.
• Recent acute care or geriatric rehab experience.
• Evidence-based nursing with risk management understanding.
• Ability to interact professionally and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, wound care, infection prevention and assessments.
• Support mobility, rehabilitation goals and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with patients and families.
