Job summary

Pointe Engineering is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Driller to join our team on slope stabilisation and ground improvement projects in North Queensland. You will operate specialist drilling equipment and support ground engineering works.

Responsibilities include top hammer and down-hole drilling, soil nails, rock bolts and ground anchors, plus pre-start checks and close collaboration with the crew to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in geotechnical drilling or ground engineering.
• Experience operating specialist drilling equipment.
• Knowledge of TH and DH drilling techniques.
• Experience with soil nails, rock bolts or ground anchors.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Availability to work FIFO on a 2:1 roster.

About the Role

You'll operate specialist drilling equipment and support our ground engineering and slope stabilisation works.

Your duties will include:

• Operating excavator-mounted drilling rigs and A-frame skids.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:
