Job summary

Fugro in Australia seeks a GIS Data Processor to transform complex geospatial and survey data into actionable insights for major Pacific-region projects. You will collaborate with survey teams, project managers and data specialists to deliver high-quality geospatial products and manage project data for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Geospatial, surveying, hydrography or related field is required.
• Experience across the ArcGIS ecosystem (Pro/Online/Enterprise).
• Familiarity with Global Mapper and FME is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of spatial data formats, geodesy and coordinate reference systems.
• Ability to script and automate geospatial workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process geospatial data and deliver client-ready GIS products with QA.
• Assist with survey line planning to support operations.
• Manage project data and documentation, ensuring integrity and compliance.
• Publish and maintain project information on digital platforms for stakeholders.
• Archive datasets per data management procedures.
• Design and run advanced spatial analyses and GeoAI workflows.
• Collaborate with surveyors and multidisciplinary teams to meet client outcomes.
