You will undertake experimental and/or theoretical work, contribute to teaching in areas relevant for Quantum Materials such as solid-state physics, and build collaborative networks with leading researchers across new

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or equivalent awarded within the last 8 years.
• Strong research expertise in quantum materials or related fields.
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching in Experimental Physics.
• Experience with grant writing and funding proposals.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Undertake experimental and/or theoretical research in Quantum Materials or related areas.
• Contribute to development of teaching opportunities in Quantum Materials and solid-state physics.
• Build collaborative networks to advance physics and leverage new laboratories and infrastructure.
• Engage in undergraduate and graduate education within the discipline.
