A community health organization is looking for a Generalist Counsellor in Churchill to provide one-on-one counselling and facilitate group therapy programs for children aged 5-18. The role requires collaboration with various health professionals to ensure holistic care. Qualified applicants will have a tertiary qualification in Counselling or Psychology and a current Working with Children Check. Generalist Counsellor – Latrobe Community Health Service
Latrobe Community Health Service invites applications for a Generalist Counsellor role located in Churchill.
This part-time, permanent position requires 45.6 hours per fortnight.
Compensation: Total remuneration package dependent on skills and qualifications.
Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to children aged 5-18.
Facilitate group therapy programs.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Nurses and Allied Health Assistants to ensure holistic care.
Explore opportunities in other program areas such as Neurodevelopmental assessment clinics and the school readiness program.
Pathway to leadership if desired.
Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Psychology or equivalent.
Current Working with Children Check.
