Job summary

We offer a flexible 3-day minimum roster, Monday to Friday 9:00am–5:00pm, tools and equipment supplied, and a supportive team environment. Grow your skills within a leading Australian-owned camper company.

Qualifications

• Experience with 12V electrical systems (48V knowledge is highly regarded).
• Servicing knowledge across general repairs and maintenance.
• Confident with a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Strong general handyman or trade skills with problem-solving ability.
• Customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, installations, maintenance and general workshop tasks on camper trailers and hybrid caravans.
• Perform servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
• Assist with installations and part replacements as required by the workshop schedule.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets.

General Technician / Handyman

Austrack Campers Heatherbrae is looking for a motivated and hands‑on General Technician / Handyman to join our workshop team.

If you enjoy problem‑solving, working with your hands, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for carrying out repairs, installations, maintenance and general workshop tasks on our camper trailers and hybrid caravans.

For the right candidate, we can also offer a flexible working arrangement (3 days per week minimum)

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience with 12V electrical systems (48V knowledge is highly regarded).
• Servicing knowledge
• Is confident using a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Has strong general handyman or trade skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
• Looks for solutions rather than problems.
• Enjoys learning new skills and tackling new challenges.
• Has an interest in off‑road camping, caravans or 4WDs (highly regarded).
• Has customer service experience (desirable but not essential).
• Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence.
