Job summary

HealthcareLink Pty Ltd. is seeking a General Psychologist to join a national allied health team in Ballarat, offering hybrid work options and a diverse caseload.

The role involves collaborating with doctors, nurses and therapists, delivering counselling, therapy programs, and supervision of early career psychologists, with a supportive, flexible environment and ongoing professional development. Full-time or part-time positions are available; salary is above award wages, up to 120k AUD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or higher is required.
• Current GENERAL AHPRA registration or eligibility as a psychologist.
• Board registration is required for practice.
• Experience in a similar psychological role is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo background checks including a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient mental health.
• Develop, implement and monitor counselling and therapy programs.
• Maintain high standards of patient care.
• Consult with mental health professionals to address community needs.
• Provide counselling and support to carers of the mentally ill.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in psychology to ensure high-quality care.
• Supervise early career psychologists.
