Job summary

Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. seeks a General Practitioner for a modern, purpose-built clinic in Newcastle. The full-time position is to replace a retiring doctor; you will join a team of six doctors with three onsite nurses supporting chronic disease management, immunisations and procedures.

Onsite pathology and a dietitian are available, offering a wide scope of clinical work. The role covers women’s and men’s health, ante-natal/paediatrics care, diabetes management, chronic care plans, skin clinic

Qualifications

• Must hold Vocational Registration (FRACGP | FACRRM or above).
• Not a DPA area.
• Empathetic and consultative approach to medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide diverse clinical care including women’s health, men’s health, ante-natal/paediatrics, diabetes management and chronic care planning.
• Perform skin clinic, minor surgery and wound care as needed.
• Take over existing patient base and maintain continuity of care.
• Work with onsite nurses, pathology and dietitian to support patient care.

About The Role

• Full-time doctor retiring - the doctor sees a lot of young families, mothers/babies etc.
• The medical centre employs a team of 6 doctors.
• Enjoy support from 3 onsite clinic nurses who support chronic disease management planning, immunisations and assist with procedures/wound care.
• Enjoy a wide variety of clinical work including, women and men's health, ante-natal/paediatrics care, diabetes management, chronic care plans, skin clinic and minor surgery and more

• 70%, $150 p/h guarantee for 3 months
