Job summary

Health Workforce Queensland seeks a General Practitioner for a private clinic in Pomona, a relaxed country town at the foot of Mount Cooroora. The role is permanent full-time (38 hours per week) with a community-focused approach to acute and chronic care.

The successful candidate will assess, diagnose and manage diverse presentations, promote preventative care and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver patient-centred services.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM, or working towards Fellowship.
• Current Medicare Provider Number, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current professional indemnity insurance.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in accordance with professional requirements.
• Valid authority to work in Australia.
