The Position

An established mixed billing practice in Melbourne’s south-east is seeking a VR GP to meet growing patient demand. With over 4,000 patients, full-time nursing support, and a well‑equipped clinic, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP to build a thriving patient base. Flexible hours and special interests welcome.

The Clinic

The clinic currently has 2 GPs and a specialist onsite and is supported by allied health professionals including a podiatrist, dietitian, physiotherapist, chiropractor, psychotherapist, and sonographer. Consultations are appointment‑based with no walk‑ins, and a strong admin team ensures a well‑run practice environment.

The Location

Located in a busy south‑eastern suburb of Melbourne, the practice serves a diverse community and enjoys a steady flow of new and returning patients. Easy access to local amenities, schools, and major roads adds to the appeal.

Qualifications

• Vocational Registration (FRACGP or equivalent)
• Unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Commitment to quality patient care
• Willingness to work in a mixed billing model

The Package

• 75% of billings
• Mixed billing: Standard item 23 billed at $62.85 ($42.85 rebate + $20 gap)
• Approx. $282/hour at 6 patients/hour (70% of $62.85 x 6)
