Abby Health is a telehealth platform connecting GPs and NPs with patients across Australia for same-day, first-contact care. The role is fully remote, with flexible consulting hours seven days a week (5:30am–11:30pm AEST) and a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month.

Requirements include Specialist AHPRA registration in General Practice and fellowship with RACGP, ACRRM or an equivalent qualification. A reliable internet connection, webcam, and a quiet private workspace are essential for

Abby Health is a telehealth platform built on the belief that every Australian deserves the same high standard of care, wherever they live. We connect general practitioners (GPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) with patients across Australia for same-day, first-contact care –from acute presentations and chronic disease management to weight-loss and smoking-cessation support.
Nearly half of our patients live outside major cities. We now see over 10,000 patients a week.
Dr Ramu Nachiappan, one of Abby's founders, has practiced as a GP for more than 30 years in rural Australia and continues to run an established practice in Broken Hill. His ongoing clinical work keeps Abby's model grounded in the day-to-day realities of rural and remote practice.
