Job summary

Reedy Creek Medical Centre is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This full-time role focuses on high-quality primary care delivery within a patient-centred model.

You will diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions, provide preventive care and coordinate referrals while maintaining comprehensive records and participating in CPD. Flexible arrangements and strong team support are offered.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Current registration with the AHPRA.
• Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or FACRRM.
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in managing common primary care presentations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain professional development requirements.
• Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations including medical history taking, physical examinations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and treatments with safe patient outcomes.
• Provide preventative healthcare advice and health promotion across all ages.
• Refer patients to specialists when clinically indicated.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to practice policies.
