Job summary

PracticaHealth in New South Wales (Canterbury-Bankstown) is seeking a GP to join a growing practice. You will work with a diverse patient base, offering women’s health, immunisations and chronic disease management, with scope for minor procedures.

Hours are flexible, up to 6 days a week, with a strong emphasis on community care. The site offers a modern facility, bulk billing with some private treatments, and a guaranteed high starting hourly rate of $200/hour + GST for the first 3 months,

Qualifications

• Women's health knowledge or experience preferred.
• Immunisation programs familiarity a plus.
• Chronic disease management experience a benefit.
• Ability to perform minor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide women's health services from screening to management.
• Deliver baby immunisations and well-child care as part of routine visits.
• Manage chronic diseases via care plans and recalls system.
• Perform minor procedures, skin checks, cautery and cryotherapy in-house.

The suburb is growing and the flow is there from day 1, no ramp up spent wondering whether the patients exist. While you settle, $200 an hour plus GST for your first 3 months, then 75% of billing receipts.

Pick Your Days

Up to 6 days a week with hours flexible between 8am and 8pm, 7 days. A shorter week fills the same way the full ones do, from a community that needs more doctors than it has.

Remuneration

• $3200 daily Practice Billings
• 75% of billing receipts after your first 3 months
• Earn a min of $280 per hour
• Bulk billing with some treatments privately billed (consult and treatment fees required)
• $200 per hour plus GST guaranteed for your first 3 months

Clinical Work

• Womens health through the book, screening to management
• A growing population of young families, baby immunisations on cycle
• Chronic disease managed on care plans, recalls systemised
• Minor procedures, skin checks, cautery and cryo in house
• The care plan and procedure mix builds real earning capacity once settled

Privately owned, with an independent GP role and room to establish a base quickly.
