Join a busy, established General Practice in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, offering strong patient demand, flexible consulting opportunities and an exceptional regional lifestyle just 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

Due to ongoing high patient demand, Gisborne Medical Centre is seeking VR General Practitioners to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Gisborne Medical Centre is an established General Practice providing high-quality healthcare to the local community. With a loyal patient base and strong local reputation, you’ll have the opportunity to build a busy and rewarding practice while working within a relaxed, friendly and collaborative environment.

The practice operates seven days a week and offers both daytime and after-hours consulting opportunities, providing flexibility for GPs to shape their working arrangements around their lifestyle and professional goals.

Gisborne Medical Centre supports a broad and varied patient population, providing GPs with the opportunity to develop their clinical interests and build long-term relationships with patients and families.

The practice is strongly committed to lifelong learning, supporting medical students and General Practice Registrars through supervision and training. The practice has a strong history of supporting Registrars, with many going on to join the team after completing their fellowship.

You’ll work alongside experienced GPs and nursing staff in a collaborative environment where teamwork is highly valued. Experienced practice management, administration, marketing and IT teams provide additional support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Gisborne Medical Centre also provides access to a broad range of healthcare and allied health services, including pathology, medical imaging, pharmacy, emergency care, psychology, physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics and diabetes education, supporting a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
