• Medical qualifications registrable with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
• Accreditation through the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA).
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Demonstrated experience in anaesthesia and critical care medicine.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
• Final-year GP Registrars with suitable anaesthetic training may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic and perioperative services across elective and emergency procedures.
• Conduct pre-anaesthetic assessments and post-operative reviews.
• Deliver safe anaesthetic care with continuous patient monitoring.
• Participate in a 24/7 emergency anaesthetic roster.
• Support emergency surgery and critical care responses.
• Provide procedural expertise including airway management and vascular access.
• Participate in Medical Emergency Team (MET) and Code Blue responses.
• Supervise anaesthetic trainees and junior staff where appropriate.
• Support recovery room and day surgery services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
