Job summary

Health Workforce Queensland is recruiting for an on-site Permanent Full Time GP in Oakey, Queensland. The role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on registrar training and Fellowship progression.

You will provide clinical care, mentor registrars and ensure Medicare and incentive payments are maximised, while upholding professional and ethical standards in line with the Australian Doctors Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Vocationally registered General Practitioners or AGPT registrars are eligible.
• Open to applicants with authority to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat Clients to promote, maintain and improve health under the organisation's model of care.
• Mentoring and medical education to the clinical team including GP Registrars or Students.
• Maximise Medicare claiming and PIP/SIP incentive payments.
