Job summary

The Medical Centre of Gympie is seeking General Practitioners to join our well-established, growing practice in Gympie, Queensland. We welcome both full-time and part-time GPs to deliver high-quality primary care for the whole family in a supportive team.

Enjoy a five-day workweek with no after-hours calls, modern facilities, a dedicated nursing team, and ample off-street parking. Overseas-trained doctors are welcome to apply and will be supported through the transition into Australian

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM is preferred or eligible.
• Strong clinical skills and patient-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.
• History-taking, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed.
• Managing chronic diseases in line with national guidelines.
• Vaccinations and ordering diagnostic tests as required.
• Collaborating with specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing staff.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential medical records with software.
• Upholding patient safety, infection control, and quality care.
• After hours on call with rotating roster.
