Qualifications

• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and preventative health care.
• Request and review investigations, communicate results, arrange follow-up and referrals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with the care team.
• Contribute to clinical meetings, accreditation, audit and quality-improvement activities.

About the role

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and preventative health care.
• Request and review investigations, communicate results, arrange follow-up and make appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, reception staff, allied health providers and external specialists.
• Contribute to clinical meetings, accreditation, audit and quality-improvement activities.

What we are looking for

• Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the Medical Board of Australia and AHPRA.
• A recognised primary medical qualification and experience in general practice, primary care or a closely related clinical setting.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and the relevant approved supervision arrangement, where required.
• Current medical indemnity insurance and resuscitation certification, with capacity to complete required pre-employment checks.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication skills and a warm, patient-focused approach.
