Better Medical is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join Eastern Shore Doctors Bellerive in Hobart’s Eastern Shore. You’ll work in a doctor-led network that handles the business side, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

The role provides comprehensive general practice across all ages with clinical autonomy and strong nursing/admin support. FRACGP or equivalent eligibility (UK/Ireland/New Zealand–trained) is required, with a flexible, sustainable workload.

Located in Bellerive, Eastern Shore Doctors Bellerive has been providing quality healthcare to individuals and families across Hobart’s Eastern Shore for more than 30 years. The experienced doctors are committed to providing personalised, professional and compassionate care, with a focus on supporting the health and wellbeing of patients at every stage of life.

The practice provides a comprehensive range of general practice and primary healthcare services, as well as specialised medical care to support a wide range of health needs. Services include general consultations, preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, health assessments, women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, skin health and other ongoing medical care.

The doctors work with patients to understand their individual health needs and develop appropriate care plans, helping to provide continuity of care for individuals and families throughout the Eastern Shore community.

About you

You’re a patient first, VR General Practitioner who values clinical autonomy, teamwork and high-quality primary care. You’re comfortable working in a collaborative and locally focused practise that offers the support of a doctor led network that will handle the business side giving you full freedom to focus on the quality care you provide to your patients. You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be looking for a sustainable yet flexible workload that won't cause you to sacrifice clinical excellence or earning potential.
