Job summary

Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) invites a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner to join a supportive Aboriginal community-controlled organisation. You will deliver patient-centred care for chronic and complex conditions within a vibrant, multidisciplinary team and engage with visiting specialists.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, relocation support, professional development, and generous leave entitlements to foster work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • VR General Practitioner with AHPRA Registration is required.
  • Experience in rural or Indigenous health is a bonus but not essential.
  • Willingness to relocate to Albury-Wodonga region and engage with local Indigenous culture.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care focusing on chronic and complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, registrars, nurses, dentists and Allied Health professionals.
  • Support mental health and AOD care and engage with visiting specialists as needed.

About the role:
