Qualifications

• Mandatory qualifications include a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners / Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
• Evidence of being a medical expert with recent comprehensive General Practice experience.
• Evidence of scholarly activity and ability to educate staff and trainees.
• Evidence of strong communication, collaboration, and professional governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as determined by HNELHD.
• Ensure attendance during rostered hours and on-call periods, including clinical handover and supervision.
• Contribute to education and research activities as directed by HNELHD.
