Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in accredited General Practice.

• Multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Document health histories and administer medications.
• Provide resources on home care and management of medical issues.
• Immunisations, injections, triage, wound management, ECGs.
• Explain procedures and offer patient support and reassurance.
• Assist with care plans and shared health summaries; telehealth support.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain clinical documentation.
• Coordinate the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, and equipment care.
• Implement infection control practices and assist with reception duties.
