Job summary

Central QLD Health Service is seeking a PHO or Basic Physician Trainee in General Medicine to provide cover across Central Queensland. The placement supports late October to late November 2026 with rostered day, night, and weekend shifts and on-site facilities.

This temporary assignment includes travel and accommodation arrangements, including economy flights or mileage reimbursement and taxi costs, with a shared self-contained unit provided for the duration of the blocks.

Qualifications

• PHO or Basic Physician Trainee in General Medicine is required.

Responsibilities

• Cover General Medicine blocks across Central Queensland between Oct–Nov 2026.
• Shifts: Days 08:00–16:30, Nights 20:00–08:00, Weekends 08:00–20:30.
• Travel and accommodation provided with flights or mileage and taxi reimbursements.

Direct economy return flights capped at $1500 or mileage at 0.88c/km.
