The salary range for this position is $22.81 (junior) to $25.67 after 12 months or at age 20, and $33.50 adult rate per hour. The total salary package includes employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

About the Role

This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools. You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of a Departmental School and its grounds, including setting up and removing furniture and equipment for school activities.

  • Identify and report maintenance and safety issues.
  • Receive, store and distribute supplies.
  • Monitor equipment and report faults.
  • Assist with the setup and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities.

  • Provide an example of how you have identified and managed a potential hazard requiring maintenance (max 300 words).
