Zusammenfassung

Verbrec is seeking a Project Engineer to support operating projects across Australia and New Zealand, delivering them on time and within budget under the VPDP framework. The role covers design through commissioning and requires strong attention to cost control and stakeholder engagement.

You will work on proposals, monitor project performance with EV management, and manage invoices while coordinating SCADA monitoring and change control processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent and 3+ years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience with AS2885 Pipeline Suite of Documents (Maintenance Plans, Isolation Plans, Integrity Management Plans etc)
• Ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions
• Experience with the operations of high-pressure gas pipelines in accordance with AS2885.3
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects
• Highly developed communication, team, and interpersonal skills
• Working within the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Verbrec HSE and Quality Management Systems including The Verbrec Way

• Assist in the preparation of proposals for gas pipeline operations projects
• Identify and incorporate stakeholder requirements into projects including scope, client documents, reporting, and KPIs
• Monitor progress on all assigned projects using earned value management to present project status
• Understand cost and schedule performance and support mitigation measures
• Identify and document potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Invoice management including review, issuing and follow-up of client invoices and sub-contracts
• Monitor SCADA and support operational projects from design through commissioning
• Undertake MOCs for operational projects to control changes to pipeline infrastructure
• Provide emergency response support for operational assets

Our Project Engineers support the ongoing delivery of operations projects in accordance with the Verbrec Project Delivery Platform (VPDP) and support our pipeline operations teams. Their role encompasses all aspects of successful operations management including cost, schedule, risk, MOC, Procedure development, fault finding and stakeholder engagement, to ensure operations projects are delivered on time and on budget, whilst meeting both Verbrec’s and the Client’s expectations.

The Role also provides design and operating asset engineering technical capability to assist the Verbrec Operations and Maintenance business to achieve effective delivery of its projects from conceptual design through to detailed design, execution, and commissioning; and maintain the integrity of the assets that Verbrec operates:

• Execute work in accordance with the VPDP, under the direction of the Project Delivery Manager
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for gas pipeline operations projects
• Responsible for identifying and incorporating stakeholder requirements into projects including:
  • Scope requirements and limits
  • Client supplied documents and drawings
  • Reporting requirements
  • Key Performance Indicators
• Monitor progress on all assigned projects, utilising earned value management to present an accurate project status
• Understand cost and schedule performance on assigned projects, and support the implementation of measures to control project performance
• Identify and document potential risks and be involved in the development of effective mitigation strategies
• Invoice management including; managing the review, issuing and following up of client invoices, and invoice management for sub-contracts
• Monitoring SCADA
• Undertaking MOCs for operational projects to control the change to the pipeline infrastructure
• Emergency response support for the operational assets
