Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Blacktown-based Gardener Assistant to support landscaping and construction teams in a variety of projects. The role offers a fixed hourly pay of $35.11 with a daily travel allowance and 11.5% superannuation, plus weekly pay and ongoing casual assignments.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months of labouring experience, a Construction White Card, and a valid driver licence with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card (White Card).
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople.
• General labouring duties as required.
