Job summary

ALH's Woree Tavern in Cairns is seeking a friendly Gaming Attendant to greet guests, operate gaming machines responsibly, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You will handle cash with accuracy, follow RSA and RCG/RCG compliance, and contribute to a culture of responsible service.

You are a people person with good communication, able to work across day, evenings and weekends, and able to lift/move stock as part of duties; prior experience in pubs is valued.

Qualifications

• Current RSA and RCG/RCG qualifications are required.
• Excellent people skills and communication abilities are essential.
• Flexible availability across day, evenings and weekends.

Gaming Attendant | Woree Tavern

With great gaming comes great responsibility! We're looking for a proactive Gaming Attendant to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests through warm and authentic service. To be suitable for this role, you'll be motivated to comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming regulations. Sound like a good fit? Game on!

A day in the life of a Gaming Attendant:

• Actively engage with guests by sharing your passion for our products and create special moments that our guests won't forget


• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety as well as RSA and RCG/RSG compliance


• Complete machine payouts and cash handling tasks in accordance with hotel policies and gaming regulations

About you:

• You are great with people, detail and communication and are motivated to make magic happen for your guests and your teammates


• You are a team player and have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends


• You hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications


• You'll be yourself and come as you are – ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
