Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced fund operations leader to manage day-to-day oversight teams and ensure delivery of service according to fund policies and SLAs. You will collaborate with Shared Services, COEs and other business units to drive seamless processing.

The role requires a strong background in fund accounting, regulatory awareness and staff leadership. You will recruit, train and mentor staff, participate in performance reviews, and help shape operational best practices across

Qualifications

• 12+ years total experience with at least 5+ years in fund accounting or unlisted investment accounting
• Experience in supervisory/management roles
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Approve high value transactions
• Serve as primary contact for operational issues and provide technical expertise
• Manage and escalate issues related to Shared Services and COE
• Oversee overtime budget
• Ensure proper records of daily/monthly activities
• Assist with compliance/audit reviews
• Assess regulatory changes
• Lead implementation of new funds, systems and processes
• Coach and develop staff; conduct performance appraisals
• Make staffing, hiring, promotions recommendations
• Support committees and drive company initiatives
• Provide training and development opportunities
• Report unusual/suspicious activity per policy
