A local health organization is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Functions & Events Officer to join their team at the Mildura Sporting Precinct. This part-time temporary role involves planning, coordinating, and managing events to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have a formal qualification in events management or significant relevant experience, strong customer service skills, and a good understanding of the local community. The position offers a flexible work schedule and a competitive hourly rate.
We're currently searching for an engaging and enthusiastic Functions & Events Officer to join our organisation at the Mildura Sporting Precinct in a temporary part-time capacity up to and including 22 February 2027.
This position will require the successful applicant to work 96 hours within a four-week work cycle. Work outside normal office hours may be required.
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing events at the Mildura Sporting Precinct to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction. Also supports the promotion and coordination of facility bookings, with a focus on increasing usage and identifying business opportunities, especially during off-peak times.
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $39.34 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
