Cabrini Health seeks a Functional Specialist – Clinical Applications for a temporary full-time role based in Malvern with hybrid options. You will support clinical applications (e.g., MedChart, Charm, iPharmacy), guide digital transformation, and work across Cabrini locations to improve workflows and patient care.

You bring clinical knowledge, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to IT and clinical teams, contributing to governance, testing, and upgrades within a not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration would be desired.
• Good understanding of MedChart and Charm would be desired.
• Highly developed communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in quality improvement activities that have led to improved patient care outcomes and patient experience.
• Understanding and experience of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with IT staff and clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Cabrini's IT leadership by providing governance and KPI insights.
• Monitor service desk tickets, test releases, manage accounts and upgrades.
• Participate in projects as SME and provide insights on applications.
• Provide support to clinical end users across Cabrini locations.
• Maintain expertise in clinical applications to sustain and improve functionality.

Functional Specialist – Clinical Applications Temporary Full Time Based in Malvern / Hybrid working arrangements

About the role

The Clinical Application Specialist role has become available for a highly motivated and dynamic individual who has excellent clinical knowledge and use of systems such as MedChart, Charm, iPharmacy or similar. The role will provide an opportunity for a clinician to develop knowledge in configuring key clinical applications in improving hospital workflows. As a key member of the applications team your clinical knowledge and experience will be instrumental in guiding digital transformation activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the Cabrini's IT leadership by providing support and advice on governance, technical consideration, KPI insights and status reporting.
• Actively involved in monitoring service desk tickets in resolving issues, testing releases, account management and participates with peers in delivering yearly statutory upgrade.
• Participate in projects as a subject matter expert and provide insights into applications and steering project outcomes.
• Providing support and guidance to clinical end users using various applications across Cabrini multiple locations.
• As a pivotal contributor to the digital strategy the individual will maintain expertise in all aspects of clinical applications in sustaining and improving functionality used by clinical staff.

About you
