Job summary

Shoalhaven Ex-Services Group is seeking Functions & Events Attendants to support weddings, conferences, galas and community events in Nowra and Worrigee NSW. You will help run events from setup to pack-down, deliver food and beverage service, and ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires excellent customer service, teamwork and the ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays. RSA and hospitality awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, bar, waitressing or function experience is preferred.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing bars and service stations prior to events.
• Providing professional food and beverage service, including waitressing and table service.
• Serving beverages and operating the bar in accordance with RSA requirements.
• Clearing tables and maintaining clean, organised event spaces throughout service.
• Assisting with pack down and resetting venues following events.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and workplace safety.

About the Role

As a Functions & Events Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. You'll work alongside our Functions team to create outstanding experiences for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing bars and service stations prior to events.
• Providing professional food and beverage service, including waitressing and table service.

About You

You'll also have:

• Previous hospitality, bar, waitressing or function experience (preferred but not essential).
• A current NSW RSA Competency Card.
