Job summary

PCYC Queensland in Malanda is seeking a passionate Fun Squad Service Manager to lead and oversee our local Fun Squad service. You will ensure smooth operation, compliance with government regulations, and a safe, welcoming environment for members.

You’ll build strong relationships with families and stakeholders, drive quality service delivery, and inspire a collaborative, safety-first culture aligned with PCYC Queensland values, while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate III in childhood studies or equivalent
• Working towards Diploma in childhood studies is acceptable
• Must hold child protection certificates (CHCPRT025/026 or CHCECE057)
• Working with Children Check / Blue Card required
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
• Knowledge of relevant legislation governing Fun Squad operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fun Squad service in line with regulations and standards
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to strengthen PCYC brand
• Foster a safety-first, inclusive culture and support staff development
