Qualifications

• Current NSW Safeworking Qualifications and route qualifications/experience.
• Category 1 Rail Safety Worker Medical or willingness to obtain one.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong literacy and numeracy, safety culture and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with freight haulage tasks per SSR policies and procedures.
• Prepare and provisioning locomotives and wagons for operations.
• Perform minor fault repairs and field rectifications.
• Undertake maintenance tasks and support rolling-stock maintainers.
• Operate with professionalism, safety focus and customer service.
• Roster/shift work including weekends and remote site assignments.
