Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in psychology and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience in educational and psychological assessments
• Exemplary counselling experience, preferably within a school environment with school aged children and/or adolescents
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students
• Commitment to professional learning and improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively in a mentoring, inclusive team
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Provide child and adolescent psychological services within the school
• Collaborate with school leaders to support student wellbeing
• Facilitate access to education and maximise educational outcomes for students
• Liaise with parents, staff and external professionals as needed
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to AHPRA guidelines
