MUJI Retail (Australia) Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Full-time Retail Sales Assistant to join MUJI Emporium. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales transactions, refunds and exchanges, maintaining clean displays, monitoring stock levels, and upholding company policies on safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar retail environment or fast-paced store setting.
• Leadership experience with ability to delegate tasks and give feedback.
• Strong communication skills with diverse customers.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills managing high stock volumes.
• Ability to work within a team and also independently manage tasks.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn about products.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including deliveries (7am), late nights (10pm), weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about products and services
• Use our point-of-sale system to process sales transactions, refunds and exchanges accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including organising merchandise displays to enhance visual appeal
• Monitor inventory levels, and supervise and assist in restocking shelves as needed
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions, safety, security, and loss prevention
