Job summary

Smart Healthcare Solutions, a Western Australian owned company, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team delivering in-home care, DVA services, and community nursing across Perth. This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Clinical Care Manager.

You must hold APHRA registration, have at least one year of relevant nursing experience, and meet checks including National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration is required.
• Minimum one year of relevant nursing full-time experience (or part-time equivalent).
• Experience in Community Nursing and Home Care preferred.
• Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check required.
• Current manual handling certificate and a valid driver’s licence.
• Vaccinations for COVID-19 and influenza up to date.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• Infection control knowledge per Department of Health guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards.
• Coordinate patient care with other health professionals.
• Provide and monitor treatments, medications and therapies per care plans.
• Lead health promotion activities and patient education.
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Clinical Standards in Homecare, Aged Care, Hospitals and Community Nursing.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Clinical Care Manager. We are seeking experienced and qualified nurses committed to delivering exceptional care. These are Full-time roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to accepted nursing practice and standards
• Consult with other Health Professionals and coordinate patient care within healthcare teams
• Provide and monitor treatments, medications, and therapies as per care plans
• Lead health promotion activities and participate in patient education
• Supervise and coordinate Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers
• Maintain accurate healthcare documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with current Clinical Standards in Homecare, Aged Care, Hospitals and Community Nursing Services

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Current APHRA registration
• Minimum one year Relevant Nursing full time experience or equivalent part time experience
• Experience in Community Nursing and Home Care
• Relevant nursing qualification for Registered Nurse
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Work Location: Various locations across Perth (CBD, North and South of the river)

Pay: AUD 85,000 – AUD 95,000 per annum (excluding Superannuation)
